Cookie Queens
Acceptable. Age: 8+. A Catholic review of this movie for parents.
Our review
A clean, cheerful documentary about four girls who set big goals and work hard to reach them. Their families help, their friendships hold, and a five-year-old with diabetes shows real grit. Nothing here works against faith or morals. The one reservation is the film's own question: the sales pressure is heavy, and the cookie brand is the star of the show.
For parents
Good for ages 8 and up, and parents will enjoy it too. It is rated G, and Common Sense Media says 8 and up. Ask: what goal did each girl set, and what did she do when it got hard? Who helped her? Is selling more always better?
