Our review
Corduroy is a teddy bear in a big store, and he is missing a button. One night he looks all over the store for it. The next day a girl named Lisa takes him home and sews a new button on his overalls. A sweet picture of love that does not wait for perfection. Lisa brings home the bear nobody wanted and mends him herself.

Age 6+, set by Lumen's read-alone age. Read aloud from 3; Common Sense Media says 2 and up. Ask why Lisa loved Corduroy even without his button. Ask how God loves us before we are perfect, and how we can make room for a new friend.
