The show has loyal friendships and a girl who protects others, and its fantasy is not graphic. But witchcraft is the heroes' proud identity, with spells, a coven and a magic school presented as good. Vampires, a murdered parent and teen romance add to the weight. The occult framing is the reservation.

For teens whose parents accept this risk. Age 13+, set by Lumen, above Common Sense Media's 11+. Ask: why does the show treat magic as harmless? What does the Church teach about spells and fortune-telling (CCC 2116)? Watch with your teen, and talk about the romance storylines.
