Dear You
Acceptable with guidance. Age: 13+. A Catholic review of this movie for parents.
Our review
A tender story of a marriage kept faithful across an ocean and a lifetime, and a grandson who learns what love costs. Critics call it sincere and moving. The reservation: we could not verify the content beyond the PG-13 warning for strong violence, language, smoking and sexual references, and the heart of the story is a long, loving deception.
For parents
For teens and up, with a parent preview, since no detailed content review exists yet. It is subtitled. Ask: was it right to keep writing letters in a dead man's name? How did the grandfather stay faithful? What did the grandson learn about money and family?
