Acceptable with guidance. Age: 8+. A Catholic review of this movie for parents.

Our review

Grant Taylor is a football coach who is losing games and feels like giving up. He prays and decides his team will play to honor God, win or lose. The team grows braver, and his family gets surprising good news. This is a clean film with prayer, Scripture and a school revival at its center. The theology needs one conversation: every faithful choice ends in a win, a pregnancy or a new truck, and real life does not always go that way. Our age is 8 and up, set by Common Sense Media, since no Catholic classification was found.

For parents

Our age is 8 and up, set by Common Sense Media's 8+ (MPA rated PG). No bishops' classification was found. Content is mild: hard football hits, a coach who smacks a player with his cap, and a couple talking about infertility and pregnancy tests. Ask: would Grant's faith still be real if they lost? Why does God sometimes say no or wait? What does it mean to give God your best effort?
