Our review
Ray hears a voice in his Iowa cornfield telling him to build a baseball field. When he does, old players come back to play. Ray learns that he must make peace with his father. It is warm, and the heart is forgiveness and a second chance. The one age is 13, set by the USCCB A-II rating; Common Sense Media says 10+ and the MPA says PG.

One age: 13, set by the USCCB A-II rating (Common Sense Media says 10+, MPA says PG). Common Sense lists mild language including s--t and son of a bitch, a character saying he smoked grass in the 1960s, beer drinking at games, adults kissing in bed, and a child who falls and is knocked unconscious but recovers. The ghost players are not demonic, but the story's afterlife is a baseball field in Iowa, not the Church's teaching on heaven; a parent should say that. Talk about it: Why had Ray cut off his father? What did Doc Graham give up? Is following a voice the same as following God?
