Our review
A grumpy mammoth and a silly sloth find a lost human baby. A tiger joins them, but he is secretly planning a trap. In the end the tiger chooses his new friends, and they bring the baby home. Strangers risk their lives for a baby, and a traitor becomes a friend. That is a good lesson in mercy and sacrifice. The one age is 6, set by Common Sense Media. Expect peril, a mother lost in the water, and potty humor.
For parents
The one age is 6, set by Common Sense Media. The Church's A-I would allow younger, and the MPA rates it PG. Expect hunting, a mother swept away after saving her baby, a flashback of Manny's family killed by humans, a fight with the saber-tooths, and potty humor. The heart is good: three strangers risk their lives for a baby who is not theirs. Ask: why did Diego change his mind? What did Manny's sadness teach him about the baby's father? Who in our life needs us to carry them home?
