Pope Benedict XVI wrote this book about Jesus. It tells about Jesus from his baptism in the river to the day he shone with light on the mountain. It helps us see who Jesus really is. This record covers volume 1 of three. The Criterion called it a magnificent book, and Benedict says it is not an act of the Magisterium.
For parents
Age 16+, set by Lumen's independent reading age. There is no objectionable content, but it is demanding, so read it slowly. A parent could read one chapter, like the Lord's Prayer, aloud to a younger teen. Ask: who do you say Jesus is? What does the Our Father ask of us?
