Our review
Little Bear is a small bear who lives with his mother. In four short stories he gets dressed for the snow, makes birthday soup, plays a trip to the moon, and makes a wish at bedtime. Mother Bear always knows what he needs. It is a gentle picture of a mother's steady love, and it helps new readers feel brave. There is nothing to correct. One age: 6, set by Lumen's read-alone age; the publisher says 4 to 8.
For parents
Age 6+, set by Lumen's read-alone age; the publisher says 4 to 8. Read it aloud from 3. Nothing here needs correcting. Ask your child how Mother Bear shows her love, and how your family does the same.
