My Father's Dragon

Our review
Elmer Elevator runs away with an old alley cat to save a baby dragon. The dragon is being used badly on Wild Island. Elmer brings lollipops, rubber bands, chewing gum and a comb to outwit the fierce beasts there. It is a clever rescue where a boy uses wits, not force. Nothing here needs correcting. Age 7+, set by Lumen's read-alone age; no Common Sense Media or publisher age was found.
For parents
Age 7+, set by Lumen's read-alone age. No Common Sense Media or publisher age was found. Read it aloud from 5. Elmer runs away from home to do it, so talk about asking Mom and Dad first. Ask why Elmer wanted to help the dragon.
