Paddington in Peru
Acceptable with guidance. Age: 6+. A Catholic review of this movie for parents.
Our review
Paddington and the Browns go to Peru to find Aunt Lucy, who is missing in the jungle. In the end Paddington chooses to go home with his family. It is a kind, funny film about never giving up on family. The villain only pretends to be a nun, so tell kids real sisters serve God. Expect jungle peril and weapon threats.
For parents
Age 6+, set by Common Sense Media and Lumen; the OSV News classification is A-I and the MPA rating is PG. Expect rapids, a plane crash and weapon threats. A fake nun is behind Lucy's disappearance. Tell kids real sisters give their lives to God and the poor. Ask: why did Paddington choose home?
