Our review

A children's allegory that treats the seven deadly sins as dragons and answers each with a virtue, Confession, Communion and the example of saints. The aim is sound and plainly Catholic. The reservation is that Lumen could not read the books or find a detailed content log, so the lust volume especially needs a parent to read it first.

For parents

Age 9+, set by Lumen's read-alone call; the publisher says 7 to 13, and read-aloud works from 7. Preview Book 7 (lust) before handing it over. Ask: which dragon troubles you most, and what is the armor against it?
