Shaun the Sheep Movie
Recommended. Age: 13+. A Catholic review of this movie for parents.
Our review
Shaun is a sheep who wants one day off from farm work. His trick goes wrong and the Farmer ends up lost in the big city with no memory. Shaun and the flock sneak into town to bring him home. The silent comedy is made with great care, and the flock risks a lot to bring the Farmer home. Expect bathroom jokes. Age 13+, set by the CNS A-II rating.
For parents
Age 13+, set by the Catholic News Service A-II, for bathroom humor and innuendo. Common Sense Media says 5+. Expect toilet jokes and a cruel animal control officer. He flirts with a sheep disguised as a woman, and the sheep kisses his cheek as a trick. Ask: what did Shaun miss once the Farmer was gone?
