Our review
Tim Ballard is a federal agent who hunts people who hurt children. He learns that two children from Honduras were taken. He risks his life to find them and bring them home. The one age is 18, set by the OSV News A-III classification; Common Sense Media says 16+ and the MPAA rating is PG-13. It is a brave story with a heavy subject. Parents should know it is partly dramatized.
For parents
One age: 18, set by the OSV News A-III classification (Common Sense Media says 16+, MPAA PG-13). The subject is child sex trafficking: children are abducted, abuse is implied but not shown, a child is punched, there is a fatal stabbing, and automatic weapons are fired. Some cursing and drinking and smoking appear. Talk about it: How does a good person respond to evil he cannot ignore? Which parts are drama and which are fact? Before giving to any charity, how do we check it? Teach older children the real danger signs, which usually involve people they know.
