Our review
The Paper keeps The Office's cringe comedy and adds a hero who believes the truth matters. That idealism is its best gift. But streaming lets it go further: f-words, God's name misused every episode, crude sex jokes, and laughs over a burned corpse. Believers get light mockery too, from a Lent gag to a line about poor religious people. It is for adults, and a marginal pick.
For parents
For adults. Common Sense Media says 12 and up and it is TV-14, but Lumen says adults for the language, the sex jokes and the mockery of believers. Oscar, from The Office, is gay and the show mentions it in passing; no romance has been reported so far. Ask: why does Ned care so much about the truth? When does a joke become contempt?
