Our review
A robot named Roz gets stuck on a wild island. She becomes the mother of a baby goose. When her makers come for her, she protects the island. This is a beautiful film about a mother's self-giving love. Common Sense Media sets the age at 8. Expect off-screen animal deaths, a fire, robot fights and mild insults.
For parents
Age 8+, set by Common Sense Media; the OSV News classification is A-I and the MPA rating is PG. Predators kill animals mostly off screen, and Roz accidentally destroys a goose family. Expect a fire and robot battles. Ask: why did Roz keep caring for Brightbill? Who made us, and what are we made for?
