Trust Fall
Acceptable with guidance. Age: 14+. A Catholic review of this book for parents.
Our review
A light enemies-to-lovers romantic comedy with real warmth. It teaches that money does not buy happiness and that assuming the worst of people is a mistake. Its one honest reservation is the frequent strong language, including God's name used casually, along with teen party drinking shown as ordinary. Nothing here attacks the faith, but nothing points toward God either.
For parents
For teens 14 and up. Read-aloud age: none. Read-alone age 14+, set by Common Sense Media and the publisher. Talk about why the characters lie, what honesty costs, and why using God's name as a casual expression is wrong (CCC 2146). Ask how real love differs from the story's romance.
