Marvel's VisionQuest
Acceptable with guidance. Age: 14+. A Catholic review of this show for parents.
Our review
The series asks what makes Vision a person and answers with family, memory and self-giving love. JARVIS sacrifices himself for others, and Vision protects a boy. That reaches toward charity. The honest reservation is that personhood is explained with no soul or God, reincarnation is floated, and the violence is frequent and stylized.
For parents
For teens, not younger children. Age 14+, set by Common Sense Media; TV-14 is 13. Ask what makes a person more than a machine or a memory. Catechism 362-366 teaches that the soul is made directly by God. Reincarnation is not Christian teaching (CCC 1013).
