Zootopia
Acceptable with guidance. Age: 13+. A Catholic review of this movie for parents.
Our review
Judy is a bunny who wants to be a police officer in a big animal city. She teams up with Nick, a sly fox. Together they find out who is making animals turn wild. It is a funny, well-made story about hard work, courage and looking past prejudice. Its 'believe in yourself' motto and a nudist joke need a word from parents. Ages 13+, set by the Catholic classification A-II.
For parents
Age 13+, set by the Catholic classification A-II; Common Sense Media says 8 and the MPA rated it PG. Expect predators attacking, a kidnapping, bullying, mild insults and a nudist club played for laughs. Talk about prejudice and second chances. Ask: are our talents only for us, or gifts from God for others?
